Weekly Update - 7/19/2026
Happy Sunday everyone!
T minus 2 weeks til band camp!!! Are we excited yet?!?! This record breaking heat has been a lot to deal with this summer and I hope you all have been staying cool, hydrated, and overall well.
Attached is a QR code/sign up link for the first week of band camp, band calendar, as well as the band manual. I haven't forgotten about the band app invites......they will go out this week. I know that apps are soooo much easier than surfing thru emails! We need more parent volunteers for the 2 weeks of band camp. Please, let me know if you can help out. I added parent volunteer slots to the sign up link. Thank you in advance!
Please save the date: Thursday, August 13, 2026 @7 pm- Band Booster meeting. Please be present for that meeting as we have some important details to cover.
Drop off items the week of band camp between 7-8 am or after 4 pm
Donations can be left at the bookshelf closest to the hallway
If the band doors are locked, items can be left at the door

Tents (let us borrow!)
Shorebirds Fundraiser:
August 15th @ 6pm Arthur W. Perdue Stadium
Band/Guard members pay $11 for their ticket
Band members who cannot attend contact Ms. Gilmore ASAP!
Every ticket sold is a $5 profit for the band. Sell as many as you can! It's a fireworks night
Money is due by the first Wednesday of Band Camp (Aug. 5th)
Band Camp Schedule:
8am-4pm Monday-Friday Aug. 3rd-14th
Check with your section leaders for what to bring
LUNCH, WATER, sunscreen, hat, cell phone w/ charger, are all essentials.
Friends & Family Show Friday the 14th @ 6pm
