Weekly Update - 7/26/2026

Happy Sunday everyone!

Aren't we glad to have had some cooler weather this past week? Hopefully it remains that way for band camp which is one week away!!!!!

A few things to touch base on here.....

DCI trip is this Tuesday, July 28th. For all that have signed up, Departure time is @ 1 pm from the band room parking lot. Wishing you all a great trip!

Please make sure our kiddos have been reviewing their music and making sure they check their instruments to ensure everything is working as expected and to have all they need to play at band camp. Section leaders should have sent out suggestions on what to bring for band camp and check your section's group chat on the band app.

Ticket sales/money for the Shorebirds fundraiser are due Wed. August 5th. All ticket sales help fundraise for the band. Student tickets are $11 and if they plan on performing, they must purchase one. It will be a night of fun and an opportunity to raise money for the band.

Speaking of fundraising.........I want to send a huge thank you to Nicole Gantzhorn, Boni Rychener, & Christina Salmon for the hard work you put in to get contracts for the discount card fundraiser. It is greatly appreciated. More info to come on our discount card fundraising blitz!

On the final day of band camp which will be Friday, August 14, 2026,there will be a parent show @ 6 pm. There is no admission fee and we get to witness some of the magic of what our kiddos learned at band camp. In the past, we have sold spirit wear at the parent show and we plan to keep the momentum going!
