Weekly Update 8/2/2026

Happy August everyone!!!!

Tomorrow is day 1 of band camp. Can you believe it? Time is really flying by. I don't know about you all, but I do not want this summer to end. Please make sure your kiddos are well rested, prepared and ready at 7:45 am. Looks like it's going to be a wet day tomorrow. Please drop off all  donated items in the band room and if the room is locked, leave at the door. 

A few things to touch base on:

Thank you to all parents/guardians for signing up to donate items for band camp. We appreciate you more than you know! As the week goes on, I'll adjust what's needed for the remainder of the week and what we'll need going into next week. 

Save the date: Thursday, August 13, 2026 @ 7 pm, we will have a band booster meeting. Please spread the word. This info will go out on the band app as well as our facebook page. We will be giving out the discount cards for the season!!!! Our goal is to sell out of them!!!! We can do it, with all hands on deck!

We will be selling the discount tickets at the Wicomico County Fair on Friday/Sat/Sun, Aug 14-16. Sign up sheets will be handed out during band camp. Be on the lookout for those. We are seeking parent volunteers to assist as well. Don't be shy, be of service for your kiddos and our JMB community!

Come one, come all to the parent show, the last day of band camp; Friday August 14th @ 6 pm. Free admission to all family and friends. We are seeking a volunteer to sell our spirit wear that evening, so if you would like to assist with that task, please either let myself, or one of the members of the booster board know. 

Shorebirds tickets are still on sale and the forms/monies are due to Ms. Gilmore on Wednesday, August 5th, 2026. Please let her know if you need another form.
